Tri-County Board of Realtors® and FNBC Announce LPGA Legends Tour Clinic Sponsorship
The Tri-County Board of Realtors® (TCBOR) and First National Banking Company (FNBC) have announced co-sponsorship of the upcoming TCBOR/FNBC Golf Clinic conducted by the LPGA Legends Tour in conjunction with the LPGA Legends Tour Horseshoe Bend Invitational Pro-Am. The golf clinic will be held on Sunday afternoon September 28th at The Golf Course on Turkey Mountain in Horseshoe Bend, AR. Advance Tickets are $3.00 each (Kids 16 yrs. and under Free if accompanied by an adult). Tickets at the gate will be $4.00 each. Tickets may be purchased at any of the thirteen TCBOR Member’s offices or at the main FNBC Bank location in Ash Flat and any of the 10 FNBC Branch locations. Just a few of the expected LPGA Legends players already committed to play in this event include Jan Stephenson, Amy Alcott, Kathy Whitworth, Pat Bradley, Cindy Rarick, Cindy Miller and Rosie Jones. Several of these Golfing Legends will be conducting the Clinic. Come out and meet, greet and enjoy these Hall of Fame players. Net proceeds from this event will be given to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Can you think of a better way to support such a worthy cause and enjoy an afternoon?
“This is going to be a great Clinic” states Nick Brown, President of TCBOR and a member of the Administrative Committee (in charge of Housing) of the Horseshoe Bend Invitational, “There has never been an event like this in Arkansas and we are fortunate to have so many great Hall of Fame Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour players visit our area and put on a fantastic show. And it is all for such a good cause – The Arkansas Children’s Hospital”.
Nick further stated that TCBOR/FNBC would also have a Pro-Am team competing in the Pro-Am event on Monday September 29th. Four (4) amateurs (male or female) will play 18 holes with one of the Legends. There will be a minimum of 20 LPGA Legends and teams competing. “We are going to have a Drawing for our four team members” explains Nick, “We are selling chances for $60.00 each (or 2 chances for $100). We’ll put all chances into a hat and draw out 4 names. Those 4 people can either play with a Legend on the team or give that privilege to someone of their choice. Purchasing a chance will also get you into the Drawing Party BBQ to be held at the North Golf Course in Cherokee Village, AR at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday August 23rd. Additional Guest tickets for the Drawing Party BBQ will be $10.00 each. Again, all net proceeds are for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
In addition to winning a spot on the TCBOR/FNBC Pro-Am Team, the four players will also be attending the Pro-Am Dinner & Draw Party on Sunday evening (Sept. 28th) which will be the drawing to see which LPGA Legends Tour Pro will play with each team. You will also receive a Commemorative Gift Bag, Invitations to the Golf Clinic and two days of interaction with LPGA Hall of Fame Legends of Golf.
Chances may be purchased at any FNBC Branch Bank or employee located in Ash Flat, Ash Flat Wal-Mart, Batesville, Cherokee Village, Hardy, Highland, Horseshoe Bend, Mammoth Spring, Melbourne, Mountain Home and Salem.
